There is no user license fee for Sea Contracts.  Charges are applied on a contract (CP) basis:

When a Charter Party is created, a fee of USD 175 is triggered. The Fee payable for each Concluded Memorandum of Agreement is USD 250 (two hundred and fifty US dollars). This fee is per CP and the creator/author of the Charter Party is liable to pay the fee. In most cases this will be a broker who creates the fixture on behalf of the principal.

In addition to the above fee, there is an additional charge applied for the use of the following CP forms:

i) USD 35 in the case of a Contract Form published by ASBA (the Association of Ship Brokers & Agents (USA) Inc.);

ii) USD 9 in the case of a Contract Form published by BIMCO (the Baltic and International Maritime Council); and

iii) USD 8 (eight United States dollars) in the case of a Contract Form published by JSE (the Japan Shipping Exchange, Inc.).

The charges for use of the Contract Forms referred to above are subject to change by the publisher of the form concerned.

Charges may be applied on a similar basis for additional Contract Forms that are made available for use in Sea Contracts.

A Charter Party can be edited up to 24 business hours following the change of status to ‘Final’. Any changes made after that time will be added as an Addenda. If, for any reason, a Charter Party needs to be re-created for the same fixture, a fee will apply for the additional Charter Party when saved in ‘Final’ status.

If a Final Charter Party is subsequently changed to status ‘Cancelled’, the fee is credited.
