A Proforma template is a copy of the original CP, which is in the Sea/Contracts system and can be used:
to insert a last done contract, or
as a template to create future contracts,
or create contract with charterer standard terms.
Proforma contracts are free of charge and contain a "PROFORMA" watermark across the pdf document.
To create a new CP from a template, click the drop down arrow on the 'ADD CHARTER PARTY' button and select "PROFORMA".
Fill out the details in the pop up window:
Enter:
Broker Company - If the CP is direct between the Charterer and Owner or an internal CP, the Broker Company is the creator of the CP.
Charterer Company
NOTE: Only companies registered to use Sea/contracts can be selected. If the company is not in the list, please contact support@sea.live for insertion.
Select the base form template for the CP. The list available for selection is specific to the Charterer company.
Click ‘CREATE’.
Enter details as you would with any other CP form.
