Before you start
Before you add you Products in to Sellar a few things to keep in mind.
Remember to add all the products to Sellar so you customers see what they would normally see.
When adding prices to your Products remember the best price promise.
How Products work in Sellar
Products in Sellar are split up behind the scenes in to two different types. So when you add your Products you will need to keep this mind.
Parent Products - The liquid itself for example 'Summer Lager'. This will hold all the information that will be applicable to add you children products, so you only have to enter it once.
Children Products - The forms it is sold in for example 'Summer Lager 50L Keg' or 'Summer Lager 24 x 300ml Case'. The difference here is the size or the package it comes in.
Adding Products
Repeat these steps for every Product you sell. This means you might go through this process a few times. Find out more about how your details look to your customers here.
Use the new button to create a Parent Product.
Here you can upload and enter all the information about the Product. Remember this applies to children products. Detailed information on all options can be found here.
Once this is created, you will be able to all your Children Products, using Add Item.
Here you can enter and adjust any details specific to this package type of the Product. (Remember this information the filters on the Sellar Market show your Products, pay close attention to the specific Container Types)
If you have set up your Price Tiers you will be able to enter a price for this Product against them at this stage. You are also able to add your stock for your availability list, but can come back to this later here.
Repeat the last steps for all Children Products, adding them to Sellar.
