What is Sellar Credit?
Sellar Credit is a payment method for eligible Stockists when placing orders on Sellar
Eligible Stockists who have been credit-checked and verified with our Finance Partner Two. Will get a Sellar Credit balance to use when checking out on Sellar. They can add as many orders to their tab as they like, which is wrapped up at the end of the month into a statement. This gives them 30 days after the statement to pay.
They can pay for all their orders for the whole month in one easy payment or via Direct Debit. But you don't have to wait; you get paid upfront for all these orders!
What are the benefits?
A guaranteed weekly payment, no risk and win more business
If a Stockist pays with Sellar Credit when placing an order with you, they can enjoy their extended terms whilst you:
Get paid without waiting
Approved buyers can purchase on credit terms, but you still get paid weekly by Sellar rather than waiting for the buyer's payment terms.
Benefit: Improved cash flow without extending credit yourself.
Win more business
Offering payment terms can make your products more attractive to buyers, particularly larger customers who expect credit.
Benefit: Increase sales and remove a barrier to ordering.
Reduce your credit risk and admin
Sellar manages the credit process, including assessing buyers and collecting payment.
Benefit: Less time chasing invoices and less exposure to bad debt than if you were offering terms directly.
Who takes the risk?
The risk is taken by Two. - our finance provider. Not you, like with your own credit terms.
Before Sellar Credit, if you gave credit for an order, you took the whole risk if the order wasn't paid for. With Sellar Credit us and our finance partner, Two take that risk on for you, underwritten by global financial services company - Allianz.
Two handles all the payments, chasing and collections for all your Stockists. Meaning they also have dedicated help with their payments and statements.
How am I paid?
Weekly payments into your Ryft account; draw down at any time automatically or manually.
All Makers on Sellar have a Ryft Account set up; a one-time verification will then allow you to draw down funds at any time. See how to verify here.
Our payouts happen every Wednesday and include all orders dispatched from the week before. Monday to Friday. Learn more about payouts here.
