Price tiers can be used to give different groups of customers, different pricing, discounts and minimum order quantities.

Where you have individual customers who have unique pricing, we would recommend using Product Discounts, which are applied on a per-customer basis.

Setting up a new price tier

  1. Go to Inventory > Price Tiers in the sidebar

  2. Click New at the top of your screen to create a new price tier

  3. Type the name of the price tier, for example, “Local Pricing”.

    • Note - the name of the price tier is not shown to customers.

  4. Type the value of the minimum order value (£)

    • Note that this is a hard limit and customers will be unable to place their order if the minimum order value is not met. We recommend leaving this blank as it will prevent any orders less than this amount. You can use your delivery notes, (Storefront > Configure) to impose soft minimum order requirements.

  5. Click Create.

  6. You can then add prices for each product.
