What are Customer Zones?
These assign Price Tiers and Product Catalogues to Customers who aren't in your list. If the find you through Sellar Market or a Link.
If a new customer visits your Storefront from The Market or a Link you have shared, we will show them the prices and products set up against their matching Customer Zone.
Each Customer zone is assigned a Price Tier and a Product Catalogue:
Price Tier - The price of the Product.
Product Catalogue - If the Product is visable.
You will have two Customer Zones in Sellar by default:
Local - This is all the postcodes you currently have set up as Direct Delivery Areas. If a customer falls into these, the attached Price Tier and Product Catalogue applies to them.
Nationwide - This is for any customers outside of the above; they will pick up the Price Tier and Product Catalogue attached to this zone.
These are new to me what do I do?
We have made some global changes to pricing and discounts based on your feedback. But don't worry, you don't have to change anything for your Customers to continue to order.
Your default Price Tiers used to live in your Storefront Settings. We would have copied your settings across to the new Customer Zones. So, unless you have made any changes to your Price Tiers and Product Catalogues.
If you have made changes, you will need to edit your Customer Zones, which you can learn how to do below.
How we edit Customer Zones
How to edit which Price Tiers and Product Catalogues are attached to each zone.
Head to Customers and then Customer Zones. Click the Zones you wish to edit.
Click 'Price Tier' and choose one from the list that you wish to apply to the zone. The one selected will have a tick displayed against it.
Click 'Product Catalogue' and choose one from the list that you wish to apply to the zone. The one selected will have a tick displayed against it.
Changes are saved as you go. Use the exit 'X' in the top right to return to your Customer Zones.
Remember, the Customers who fall into 'Local' are driven by the Postcodes in your Direct Delivery Areas.
