Step 1: Start the Deposit Process

On the Sentz app homepage, tap the "Deposit" button to begin.

Step 2: Select Your Deposit Method

On the next screen, select "Using Bank Account" as your funding source.

Step 3: Choose Instant Bank Transfer

Tap on "Choose a payment method" and select Instant Bank Transfer from the list of available payment providers.

Choose a payment method → Instant Bank Transfer (Yellow Card)

Step 4: Enter the Amount

- You will be taken to the amount entry screen. Enter the amount you wish to deposit into your wallet.

- Once you have entered the desired amount, tap "Continue".

Step 5: Review Your Order

- An order confirmation screen will appear. This screen will show a breakdown of your transaction, including: Order Currency, Amount, Fees, Exchange Rate, Vendor Details (Yellow Card), and the final amount you will receive in eUSD.

- Review the details carefully and tap “Fund” or "Continue with Yellow Card" to proceed once satisfied.

Step 6: Complete the Payment in Yellow Card

- The Yellow Card widget will now open in a browser page. Follow the on-screen instructions within the Yellow Card portal to complete your KYC verification.

- After completing this step, you can securely make your payment into the one-time generated account number.

Step 7: Yellow Card KYC Validation Process

Once the Yellow Card widget loads up, you should see an Order Summary page. Click “Continue”.

Step 8: Yellow Card KYC validation

  • Yellow Card will ask you to log in to their payment gateway to validate your information.

  • Please type in your preferred email address (either an existing email address, if you’ve used Yellow Card before, or your current Sentz email address).
You will be sent a six-digit code for authentication.

  • Yellow Card may require manual review of your KYC documentation; in that case, you will receive an email and push notification when your application is approved.

  • Click “Continue” until you get to the Deposit Confirmation page.

N.B.: When returning to the Sentz app, you may need to restart your order, as exchange rates may have changed.

Step 9: Deposit Confirmation Page

  • Yellow Card will generate a one-time Bank account to make your deposit.

  • Please ensure you copy the correct account number and send the full and exact amount displayed to ensure your payment is automatically captured and credited instantly.

  • Please ensure that the payment from your bank account is in your name, not a Neobank’s name. Payments from a business account, payment gateway, or another remittances app will result in a failed transaction and delay in wait times.

  • To ensure your payment is captured correctly, copy the reference code and add it as a description on your bank deposit.

  • Once paid, return to the Yellow Card widget and tap on the “I’ve made my deposit” button.

Step 10: Sentz Deposit Confirmation

  • Once you’ve tapped on “I’ve made my deposit” on the Yellow Card screen, you should be redirected back to the Sentz app deposit preparation screen

  • Within the stipulated time, the corresponding amount in eUSD should be credited to your Sentz wallet.

Please Note:

  • 💲Fees: A transaction fee of 0.5% is applied to all deposits made via Yellow Card

  • ⏳Processing Time: It typically takes a few minutes or a maximum of 1 hour (if your KYC is under manual review) for the funds to appear in your Sentz wallet after you have completed the payment.

  • 💵 Currency: Yellow Card converts your local currency (e.g., NGN) into eUSD stablecoins, which will be reflected in your Sentz wallet balance.

  • ❌ Unsupported Banks: Yellow Card might reject or fail your order if you pay using the following unsupported banks: Paystack, Flutterwave, Carbon, Branch, Sparkle, Eyowo, Rubies, Hope PSB, 9PSB, Smartcash PSB, Remita, and Interswitch.

If you encounter any issues or your funds have not been reflected after a maximum of 1 hour from sending your funds, please contact our Support team via support@sentz.com for assistance.
