When you share your Sentz US virtual account details with a client, they may send funds via Wire transfer or ACH (Automated Clearing House). This is the standard system for moving money between banks in the US.
Unlike sending Stablecoins on Sentz (which takes seconds), the US banking system processes transactions in "batches" on business days.
The Typical Timeline: 1-3 Business Days
In most cases, if a client sends you money on Monday (for example), you should receive it in your Sentz app by Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.
However, the exact timing depends on three factors:
Time of Day: Banks have "cut-off times." If your client sends money at 6:00 PM in the US, the bank might not process it until the next morning.
Weekends: The US banking system is closed on weekends. A transfer sent on Friday afternoon likely won't start processing until Monday morning.
National or Bank Holidays: During Federal Holidays in the US (such as Labor Day or Thanksgiving), ACH transactions are on hold and processed on the next business day.
Why isn't it instant?
When a client clicks "send," on their end, the funds don't transfer to you immediately. ACH or Wire transfers don’t really work that way.
Payment Initiation: The client's bank groups their transfer with thousands of others (into a "batch").
Clearing: These batches are sent to a Clearing House (such as the Federal Reserve) at specific times of day.
Settlement: The Clearing House sorts them and moves funds to our banking partner, Bridge.
Conversion: Once our banking partner receives the confirmed funds, Sentz instantly converts them to eUSD stablecoins and credits your wallet.
Rest assured, you can track your payment status in the app from start to finish.
What the transfer statuses mean in the app
→ Pending:
You may see a "Pending" transfer status in your Sentz activity feed, which means we've detected an incoming bank transfer. The funds have been detected and are simply completing the final settlement process. It typically becomes available to spend shortly after appearing as pending.
→ Refunded:
You may see a "Refunded" transfer status on the transaction if our banking partner could not verify its authenticity.
→ Complete:
A "Complete" transfer status on the transaction page indicates that we've received the US bank transfer, successfully converted it into eUSD, and credited it to your wallet.
