Available with ServerLife Premium.

Record the miles you drive for work in ServerLife. If you receive payment per mile, you can also set a rate to calculate your mileage earnings for each shift.

ServerLife does not use GPS to track mileage automatically. Enter the miles you drove for each shift.

Turn on mileage tracking

  1. Open More → Preferences.

  2. Scroll to the Drivers section.

  3. Turn on Miles Driven.

If you receive payment for each mile you drive, tap Per Mile Fee in the Drivers section and enter the amount you earn per mile.

This sets your default rate. If you only want to record your mileage without calculating mileage earnings, leave Per Mile Fee at $0.00.

Record mileage for a shift

  1. Add a new shift or open an existing shift to edit it.

  2. Scroll to Mileage and enter the miles you drove for that shift.

  3. If your rate differs from your default, open Rate overrides and change the per-mile rate for that shift.

  4. Review Mileage Earnings to see the total for that shift.

  5. Tap Save Shift or Update Shift.

ServerLife calculates mileage earnings by multiplying the miles entered by your per-mile rate. For example, 40 miles at $0.50 per mile results in $20 in mileage earnings.

Track driving expenses

To record costs such as gas or parking, use expense categories. For instructions, see How to track work expenses.
