Changing Dates without Picked-Up Reservations
To change the dates of a Group in Event Temple that is synced with Mews, simply edit the group and update your dates & Blocked:
Click Edit on the Group
Update the Arrival and Departure dates
Update your Blocked rooms
Click Save
Optional: Click the Sync button to quickly see if the sync passed/failed. Groups are synced automatically every 15 minutes or when the Booking Summary page is loaded.
The Blocked rooms will need to be updated as this number does not move with the date change.
Changing Dates with Picked-Up Reservations
Changing dates on Groups with picked-up reservations in Mews will result in an error when syncing:
Existing reservations will need to be cancelled in order to change the dates on the Group in Event Temple. If using Reservations in Event Temple, cancel them via the Reservations tab. Otherwise, cancel the rooms via Mews.

Once the Group/availability block is adjusted, re-add the reservations/pick-up.
Extending a Stay on an existing Group with Picked up Rooms or Checked in Rooms
To extend the stay for a single existing room you will first need to:
Click Edit on the Group
Update the Arrival and Departure dates
Update your Blocked rooms to include the extended stay
Click Save
Optional: Click the Sync button to quickly see if the sync passed/failed
In the Reservations Tab, select Update next to the room you would like to extend
Update the Arrival or Departure date
Click Save
Attempting to change the dates on picked-up rooms in the Reservation Tab will trigger an error. To successfully extend a guest's stay, itโs essential to follow the proper steps outlined earlier to avoid any issues with the booking process.
