How it works

Shaker offers two mobile apps, Shaker Agent and Shaker Client (a mobile version of our client portal) for your buyers and sellers. Both apps are available in the Google Play Store and App Store by searching either "Shaker Agent" or "Shaker Client".

The Shaker Agent app is designed for agents and admins to access deals and contacts on the go. It's meant to enable you to do simple, everyday tasks more easily such as respond to SMS messages, check your to-do list for the day or make quick updates to deals. More advanced features such as deal stage settings and workflows are not accessible in the Shaker app. To access the app, you must use your shaker login credentials.

The Shaker Client App is a mobile version of the Shaker Client Portal which gives easy access to deal timelines, documents and to-do's for open transactions. To access the app version, your Clients must first accept the client portal invitation and create an account. Once they have and account, they can download and access the mobile app with their credentials.

Keep in mind that these apps are designed for mobile phones. If you are looking to use a tablet, we recommend using your normal web client (Chrome, Safari, etc) as the site has been optimized for their usage.

Troubleshooting iPhone

While we call them smart phones, sometimes they still get confused or even tired. If you're experiencing a frozen, misbehaving or crashing app, here are some common things to help your iPhone or app get back on its feet.

  • Check to be sure you are on the Shaker “Agent” App. There is also a Shaker “Client” app which is available to buyers and sellers to access the portal.

  • Ensure you’ve Installed the latest version of your phone’s software (Settings <General <Software Update)

  • Make sure you are connected to wifi or that you have Shaker enabled for use with Celluar data. To check go to Settings > Shaker Agent > and flip the cellular data to “on”

  • Close other apps on your phone to rule out any memory/storage or loading issues

  • Sign out of the app and log back in

  • Remove and Reinstall the Shaker App

  • Restart your device

  • Uninstall and Reinstall the App through the Google Play Store

  • Restart your device. Sometimes, bugs enter an Android system after prolonged phone use or through connections with other software and this can clear issues.

  • Ensure you’re on the latest software version. Open Settings. Tap System. Tap System Update.
