To earn Airpoints Dollars™ with Sharesies you must also be a member of Airpoints™ and have an Airpoints™ number. The Airpoints Programme is operated by Air New Zealand and their Terms and Conditions apply.
To add your Airpoints number to your Sharesies account:
go to ‘Settings’
enter your Surname - make sure your surname matches your Airpoints account
enter your Airpoints number - you’ll find your Airpoints number on your Airpoints card or your Air New Zealand app under the Airpoints tab.
Once these details are added you will be eligible to participate in Airpoints Offers available on Sharesies.
You can only earn Airpoints Dollars on your eligible transactions. So, for example, if you are in charge of a Sharesies Kids account, you will not earn Airpoint Dollars on transactions made through the Kids account.
Airpoints Dollars are only currently available to earn with Sharesies in New Zealand (not in Australia). Kids accounts are not currently eligible to earn Airpoints Dollars.
You should not use another person’s Airpoints number to earn Airpoints Dollars on your Sharesies account and you should not allow any other person to use your Airpoints number to try to earn Airpoints Dollars on their Sharesies account. If you wish to share Airpoints Dollars earned with friends and family you can set up a Shairpoints™ account. Further information is available here.
When your Airpoints Dollars will arrive
You can start earning Airpoints as soon as your Airpoints number is added. However, these won’t be visible in your Airpoints account until April 2025. Airpoints Dollars earned in February and March will be issued in April—and from April onward, they’ll be issued the month after they’re earned.
You can view any Airpoints Dollars earned on the Air New Zealand website or in the Air NZ app.
Sharing your information
By providing Sharesies with your Airpoints number you agree that we may interact and share your information with Air New Zealand for the purpose of administering the loyalty programme and so that you can earn Airpoint Dollars.
