There are two ways to buy a Sharesies Gift for a New Zealand investor:
on the Sharesies website, or
under Share the aroha in your Sharesies account.
Always make sure the person you’re gifting to is eligible for a Sharesies account.
Gifts are paid for in New Zealand dollars (NZD). There's a card processing fee for buying a Sharesies Gift.
Sharesies Gifts are valid for 36 months from the date of purchase.
Buy a Sharesies Gift on the website
Go to Gifts > Buy a Gift.
Enter your name, email, and Gift amount between $5 NZD and $2,000 NZD.
Enter your debit or credit card details.
Make sure the person you’re giving the Sharesies Gift to is eligible for a Sharesies account.
Read and accept the Sharesies Gift terms and conditions.
Select Buy Gift.
Buy a Gift in Sharesies
Log in to Sharesies.
Go to Settings > Buy a Gift voucher.
Select Buy or redeem a Gift.
Enter the Gift amount. Select from the existing Gift amounts shown, or choose ‘Custom’ and enter an amount between $5 NZD and $2,000 NZD.
Select Next.
Enter your debit or credit card details. You can choose to use a saved card if this has been added to your Sharesies account previously.
Review your Gift order.
Read and accept the Sharesies Gift eligibility info and Sharesies Gift terms and conditions.
The Gift will be sent to the email address attached to your Sharesies account.
A Sharesies Gift can’t be created from a Kids Account. You can give a Kids Account a Gift by following the process above in an adult Sharesies account or on our website.
