How to set up face, fingerprint, or PIN authentication
Open the Sharesies app on your mobile or tablet.
Log in to your Sharesies account.
Go to Settings > Security.
Choose to set up face, fingerprint, or PIN authentication—your options will vary depending on your device.
PIN authentication: enter a 4-digit code that you’ll remember—your PIN can’t be numbers that repeat (e.g. 2222) or run in order (e.g. 1234).
You’ll be all set for the next time you log in to the Sharesies app!
If you don’t want to use face, fingerprint, or PIN authentication to log in to your Sharesies app, you can continue logging in with your email address and Sharesies password.
How to change your PIN
To change your 4-digit PIN:
Go to Settings > Security.
Select 4-digit PIN, then Change my PIN—you may need to re-authenticate.
Enter a new PIN.
Your PIN can’t be numbers that repeat (e.g. 2222) or run in order (e.g. 1234).
Two-factor authentication and security
If you set up face, fingerprint, or PIN authentication, you won’t be prompted to enter a 2FA verification code next time you log in to the app—that’ll only happen if you log in using your email and Sharesies password.
