Shareholder Reference Number (SRN)

An SRN is how the share registries identify you as the owner of the investments.

As your shares are held on bare trust by Sharesies Nominee Limited, you won’t receive an individual SRN when you invest with Sharesies. You’ll only need to provide us with your personal SRN if you transfer ASX-listed investments in and out of Sharesies.

Holder Identification Number (HIN)

A Holder Identification Number (HIN) is a unique number issued) when you become a CHESS-sponsored client of a broker.
