The discount description controls what customers see on the coupon card at checkout — the title, tagline, and bullet details. Keep it clear and benefit-led so customers know exactly what they're applying.
Step 1: Open the discount menu
Go to Discounts, find the discount you want to edit, and click the ⋮ menu on the right. Select Change description.
Step 2: Edit the fields
The modal shows a live preview of how the coupon card will appear to customers. Fill in:
Title — the headline on the card (e.g., "100% off"). Max 60 characters.
Description — a short tagline below the title (e.g., "on all orders"). Max 100 characters.
Details — bullet points with conditions or combine info (e.g., "Flat 100% off the order total", "Can be combined with all discounts").
Step 3: Save
Click Save. The updated description will show immediately on the coupon card for all active sessions.
