Setup Discounts on Product Page

Learn how to reduce drop offs in a layer above cart

PDP discounts help you reduce customer drop-offs and boost conversion rates by offering incentives right when shoppers are exploring products. Let’s walk through how to display and customise these discounts on your product discovery (PDP) page, and make sure they integrate smoothly with your Shopify store.

Step 1: Open your Flo PDP page. You’ll see the product title, image, and description auto-filled from your Shopify data.

Step 2: Locate the discounts section on your product page. Notice how discounts are shown to customers to grab their attention.

Step 3: Go to Elements in your dashboard. & Step 4: Select Coupons to view all the discounts or payment offers you’ve set up as active.

Step 5: Choose which discounts to display in the Product discovery page—up to ten can appear on your product discovery page.

Step 6: Click Add to activate your chosen discounts for display.

Step 7: Customise discount appearance to match your store’s look and feel. Adjust colors, borders, padding, header text (like “Available Offers”), and font size.

Step 8: Once you’re happy with the setup, click Save to confirm all your changes.

Step 9: Publish your updates. Click Publish to generate custom Liquid code needed for Shopify integration.

Step 10: Copy the Liquid code and head to your Shopify admin panel.

Step 11: Go to Themes, then choose Edit Theme for your live store.

Step 12: Select a specific product, go to Product Information, and locate the Custom Liquid section or Add block for a new one.

Step 13: Paste your Liquid code here and press Enter.

Step 14: Check your live store. Open any product page and verify that the selected discounts are now visible, ready for customers to copy and use at cart or checkout.

Customers can now easily copy the discount code, add the product to their cart, and enter the code during checkout for instant savings.

Adding PDP discounts to your product discovery page keeps customers engaged and encourages them to convert. Make sure to customise the look to match your brand and periodically update offers to keep things fresh.
