How to Create a Bundle Discount

Learn how to create a bundle discount in Shopflo that offers a set of products together at a fixed price

Written by Swapnil Sangal

A bundle discount lets you offer a set of products together at a single fixed price - regardless of their individual prices. For example, sell two shirts for ₹799 even if they would normally cost more separately. Bundles drive higher cart values, help move specific inventory, and make the shopping experience feel curated and rewarding.

When to Use a Bundle Discount

Use a bundle discount when you want to sell complementary products together, clear out paired inventory, or increase the perceived value of your offer. It works well during seasonal sales, new collection launches, or when you want to introduce customers to a product they haven't tried yet by pairing it with a bestseller.

How to Create a Bundle Discount

Step 1: Click Create Discount in your Shopflo dashboard.

Step 2: Select Bundle Discount as the discount type.

Step 3: Choose Fixed price for the bundle pricing type. This means customers get the selected products for one set price - for example, two shirts for ₹799 - regardless of what those items normally cost individually.

Step 4: Set the application mode to Automatic so the bundle price applies as soon as the qualifying products are in the cart.

Step 5: Enter a title for your discount, such as "Bundle 26." This is for internal reference.

Step 6: Define the bundle price. For example, set it to ₹799 for two shirts.

Step 7: Select the specific products that are part of this bundle.

Understanding the "Apply Upto" Setting

The Apply Upto setting controls how many times the bundle price applies within a single order. For example, if your bundle is "2 shirts for ₹799" and a customer adds 4 shirts, Shopflo could apply the bundle price twice - giving them 4 shirts for ₹1,598 instead of the full price. Setting Apply Upto to 1 means only one bundle is discounted per order. Use this to control your discount exposure and protect margins on large orders.

Setting Eligibility, Limits, and Schedule

Step 8: Set the eligibility - choose All Customers or target a specific customer segment.

Step 9: Decide if this bundle can be combined with other active discounts. Enable Combinable only if you want shoppers to stack it with other promotions.

Step 10: Set usage limits. Leave it at Unlimited if you want the bundle to be available as long as it's active, or enter a cap to control how many times it can be redeemed.

Step 11: Select the Sales Channels where the bundle will appear.

Step 12: Set the campaign duration - for example, run it for one week.

Review, Save, and Publish

Step 13: Double-check all settings, then click Save.

Step 14: Click Publish to make the bundle live for customers.
