The COD to Prepaid conversion discount lets you offer a discount to customers right after they place a COD order — nudging them to switch to prepaid before it ships. You can show it on the order confirmation page, send it as a link via messaging apps, or both.
Set it up from your Flo Checkout → RTO dashboard.
Step 1: Open the RTO settings
Go to Flo Checkout in the left nav, then click RTO under Manage. Under the Reduce COD section, find COD to Prepaid conversion discount and click Edit. Toggle it on if it's currently off.
Step 2: Set the discount type
Choose how you want to incentivise the switch:
Percentage off upto (Capped discount) — A percentage discount with a maximum cap amount.
Percentage off — A flat percentage discount with no cap. Enter the percentage value.
Fixed amount — A fixed rupee discount off the order total.
Add a free item (Freebie) — Add a free product to the order when the customer switches to prepaid.
On the right, select which Active channels this discount applies to. Click Save to proceed to Step 2.
Step 3: Set the discount position
Choose where the offer is shown to the customer. You can enable one or both placements:
On the order confirmation page of COD orders — The discount appears immediately after the customer places a COD order. Set the Validity after order placement in minutes — after this window, the offer expires.
As a link in messaging apps (C2P link) — Shopflo sends a COD-to-Prepaid link as an order note in Shopify, which you can forward via WhatsApp or SMS. Set the Validity of C2P link in minutes.
Click Save to activate.
Once live, Shopflo automatically shows the offer to customers on COD orders based on the placement settings you've chosen. No further action needed — it runs in the background on every COD order.
