How to create a new collection

Creating a Collection


To add a new collection:

  1. You can create a new collection from the main menu or the "create new" drop down from the main menu.

  2. Status: choose whether the collection should be active or disabled. Choose "Disabled" while you in the process of building the collection so that it will not be visible to your customers in the online showroom until it is ready to be released. To make it active > go to the collection list > hover over the collection name > choose "Make active".

  3. Brand: choose the brand you are creating the collection for

  4. Season: choose the season the collection is in

  5. Collection name: type the name of the collection into this field (eg; New arrivals for Spring 2020! )

  6. Save Changes

Once you have your collection created you can now add products and images to it. There are a couple of methods you can use to build your collection. Click on the link to learn more about each method.

Adding Groups


Groups are a good way to keep products organized in a collection. By default all products will be added into "Group 1" (this name can be edited).

  1. Add a new group by clicking "Add Group"

  2. Name the group

  3. Save the collection

  4. Drag and drop products from other groups into the new group or add brand new products by following the steps above - *use the drag icon to move products up and down within a group, and to move to another group*

Setting Up Delivery Dates


To set a delivery date simply go to the collection and set the delivery date on the Group by clicking the "Delivery Dates" drop down.

The delivery date will be displayed on Purchase Orders where they will be arranged based on the first delivery window, along with PDF Confirmations.

You will need to be aware of when a delivery date has passed as the collection will continue to be visible in your Showroom regardless of the set dates. (pro tip: you can set yourself a reminder under "tasks" to send you an email to do this!)

Re-arranging Product Order & Moving Products


There are few ways to do this:

  1. Drag & Drop - You can drag products up and down by grabbing onto the arrows icon at the end of the product row. This is a good method if you want to re-arrange products within the same group.

  2. Sort A-Z - Click on the column header to sort A-Z by Style # or Name.

  3. Edit Product Page - Hover over the item to show the "Actions" menu > Select "Edit" to go into the product page and change the group field.

  4. Bulk Edit - Select "Bulk Edit" > Select the products > Under the group's "Bulk Edit" menu, choose "Collections" > Select the group you would like to move the products to > Select "Update" to save changes.

  5. Bulk Import - If you have multiple products to move into different groups, you can export your products, update the groups column and re-import the data (remember to choose to "Override" duplicates). See step by step instructions here.

Sorting Collection Order


To change the order the collections are displayed in your Online Showroom, go to:

  1. The brand's profile page

  2. COLLECTIONS tab

  3. Drag and drop the collections up and down by using the arrows

Downloading Linesheets


  1. Click Linesheet

  2. Choose the orientation: Landscape or Portrait

  3. Select the Page layout - select how many images per page you want to have appear

  4. The "product details" by default will all be selected - if you don't want a certain detail to appear, simply un-check the box

  5. Select the Currency

  6. Click "Download" to go to preview

Adding Attachments


You can attach files to the collection in the Collection's Attachment tab. These files can visible or hidden from the customer when they are in the brand's online collection. Your customer can access the files under the link "DOWNLOAD LOOKBOOKS & FILES".

Video files can also be added in mp4 format with a maximum file size of 24MB.
