2.4 Restock a location

Written by Support

Goal

Order more inventory from your supplier to fill bins that are running low.

Who

Field Manager (web admin) or Field Manager / Tech (mobile).

There are two paths to request a restock. They produce the same result.

Path A: From the web admin (Field Manager)

  1. Open the location's detail page → Tools (or Parts) tab.

  2. Bins eligible for restock are flagged.

  3. Click Place Restock Order.

  4. Confirm. The order appears in the location's Feed as a Restock orders entry while it's in flight.

Path B: From the mobile app (Field Manager or Tech)

  1. Open the Restock tab. Bins below their minimum threshold (accounting for already-pending orders) show as eligible.

  2. Review the suggested items and adjust requested quantities if needed. Select All sits next to the Restock heading if you want everything.

  3. Submit the request.

After the request

When the supplier ships, the order moves to "shipped." On arrival, whoever's receiving marks it received from the mobile Receive tab (see 3.2).

Notes

  • If Place Restock Order isn't available on the bin, the location may not be connected to a supplier yet. Reach out to your Sibi CSM to confirm the supplier setup.

  • A few products can be stocked, counted, and issued but not ordered through Sibi (certain refrigerants, for example). They don't appear in restock picks. An order containing only such products is refused on the spot with a message naming them; in a mixed order, those lines are dropped and the rest is placed.

  • Products the retailer has discontinued also drop out of restock picks, and an order that contains only discontinued products is rejected up front rather than failing later.
