Goal
Build out a template quickly by importing products from a spreadsheet or document instead of adding them one at a time.
Who
Org Admin, or anyone who can edit the template.
Steps
Open the template's detail page.
Drop a file onto the import area, or click to browse. Spreadsheets (CSV, XLSX) and documents (PDF, Word, or a photo of a product list) all work, and an example CSV is available from the upload area.
Sibi reads the file and matches each row to a product. This runs in the background, and a progress panel shows how far along it is.
When matching finishes, a review dialog opens. Each row shows the product it was matched to and how confident the match is. Adjust min and max quantities, set each row's kind (part, tool, or equipment), toggle whether it should restock, and drop rows you don't want. Selecting several rows lets you set the kind or the min/max in bulk.
Confirm to add the matched products to the template.
Notes
Sibi picks the right supplier catalog automatically based on which retailers your Office orders from, so there's nothing to choose per row.
If your file has section headings (a "Tools" section, for example), Sibi uses them to classify the rows underneath. Tools and equipment default to not restocking, since they aren't consumed; override any row in the review step.
Products already in the Sibi catalog are added right away. If a row can't be matched to a catalog product, it's flagged in the review step so you can adjust or drop it before confirming.
Nothing is added to the template until you confirm in the review step, so you're always in control of the final list.
