The scribble doesn't look like my signature!
Updated over a week ago

True, it is harder to use a PC mouse to write a signature that resembles one made using pen and ink. But documents can also be opened on a tablet or touchscreen laptop, and the scribble made using a finger or stylus.

Signatures provided online through Signhost are advanced electronic signatures that are legally valid. The electronic signature (scribble) serves as proof of an expression of will, provided it meets the criteria in the Electronic Signatures Act (WEH). The services provided by Signhost meet these criteria.

Can't I upload my signature?

The act of drawing a scribble is the legally valid way for signers to indicate their agreement with the content of the written document.
Uploading a stored image of a signature – which some other parties allow – is therefore not a valid expression of will, which is why we do not offer it as an option.
