π You are able to request (and receive) a Credit Bureau report for your applicants via the Digital Services Dashboard in Omni.
The service will receive both the PDF report, and also the json data with the results of the Credit Bureau request. This means that you are able to:
review the PDF version of the Credit Bureau report and/or
use the json data to write business rules against the outcome; and see the outcome of the rules in Omni Assessment Module
Where to Order to Credit Bureau Report
You are able to Order a Credit Bureau Report from the Digital Services Dashboard in the Omni workbench:
Requesting the Bureau Report to complete an Action Item
In many Omni assessment workflows, you will be instructed to generate the Credit Bureau report by an Action item. eg in this screenshot, I have an open Action item to "Generate credit reports":
To do this, I would expand the Digital Services panel:
And then expand the Bureau Check widget, where I can then see that I have the service "ready to request" for both my applicants:
Requesting the Credit Bureau Service
The Bureau Check widget will have a number of controls on it, that allows you to call/cancel/remind etc the service, and what is happening.
β οΈ Note that the Service in Omni will use the data in the corresponding
application. So you must ensure your data in Loanapp is correct, before you call a service. A Service will only say "ready to request" when all the required data for a service is complete in Loanapp.
To request the service, click "Request".
Note that each applicant is an independent request, and so you will have to press "request" for each applicant. (This also gives you the flexibility to call them at different times if needed).
When you click "Request", the Omni interface will confirm that the service has been triggered; and you will see the status change to "waiting - requested", with the date and time of the request:
The Credit Bureau service generally only takes <1 minute to return a report.
Reviewing the outcome of a successful Bureau call
When the Credit Bureau service is successfully completed, you will see the status has changed to "Provided" (with date and time):
To the view the report, you can click on the details button:
You will get a new popup with the outputs of the service. Generally you will get 3 items - the xml, the json, and the PDF output of the service.
To view the PDF, click the download button, and this will download your report for review:
Note that if you get a finalised Credit Bureau report for all of your applicants, the widget itself will be "Completed":
And when you collapse the widget you will see on the Dashboard summary that the Service has been completed:
β‘οΈ Note that the Credit Bureau report will be configured to automatically be delivered to the supporting documents checklist for this application. π€©
Bureau data used in Business Rules
βοΈ After you have ordered and received your Credit Bureau report, the json data will be inserted into the data record for your application. This data can then be used to have business rules run against it.
IF your lender has configured business rules to be run against the Credit Bureau json data, there are two ways that you can check to see if any of the rules have been triggered.
Check Application
When you have completed the Bureau Service, you can click "Check Application". This will run or re-run all of the business rules that have been written to run against an application data set. If any of the Credit Bureau rules trigger an outcome, they will be listed eg:
If no issues are identified, you will see no credit bureau-related rules in your list.
Assessment Area in the Assessment Module
The second way to see the outcome of your rules is to see the outcome of all your Credit Bureau rules in your Assessment Module. Navigate back to the Assessment Module, and go into the Bureau Check Rules bucket to see the outcome of the rules that have been run.
Make any notes on the Assessment Summary.
A final step that you will most likely take after you have reviewed the Bureau File for your applicants is to make any comments/notes on your Assessment Summary.
Check Loanapp application data; and issue any Info Requests as needed
You will need to check the disclosed Loanapp application data (particularly the liabilities; and Company Directorships) matches the detail found on the the Credit Bureau report.
If not, issue an info request
