How to invite brokers to use your Loanapp

How to setup Broker user credentials in your channel so that they can submit applications to you

This article takes you through how to setup a broker for login access to your Loanapp.

Go to Simpology Manager (Secure)

If you have the permissions to add users to your channel, you will have access to Simpology Manager in your channel.

To navigate to Simpology Manager, click on the hamburger icon in the top left of your screen:

This will take you to the secure section of your channel:

Navigate to Entities Section

In the Menu ribbon across the top, click on Organisation, and then select Entities:

This will take you to the Entities section.

If your broker belongs to an existing brokerage partner, you can search for the brokerage in the search bar to add your new broker:

Otherwise, you need to create a new Brokerage. To do that, click the Add button:

Setup the Brokerage entity

You will get an empty Entities record, to complete with the details of the Brokerage. You need to complete all the mandatory fields, which have an asterix*

Fill in the Brokerage's company name and Trading name:

Enter Company Name

Click on the Entity status dropdown to set the brokerage status as Active:

Select Entity Status

To add an aggregator, click the Parent Entity dropdown and select the relevant Aggregator:

In Entity Type, select Brokerage:

Select Entity Type

Add the Brokerage ABN. This is important as it becomes the unique identifier for the Brokerage:

Enter Final Company Number

Enter a central phone and email for the Brokerage

Enter Full Email Address

Click Save to store the brokerage information you have entered.

You might get prompted to add any other mandatory data.

Enter Mobile Number

If you do, complete any further required detail and click SAVE

Open User Management Section

Now that you have established the Brokerage, you are able to add Brokers that belong to the brokerage. Scroll down the Entities page, and Click Users for this entity:

The section will expand. If this is an established brokerage, you will see any existing users. To add a new Broker, Click the Add button

You will be taken to a new screen which is an empty User Profile screen

Setup your Broker User

Click on the User type dropdown, and select Broker:

Tick the "Accredited" box as this will ensure the broker is able to submit applications.

Enable Accreditation

Click on the Status dropdown and set the status of Active, or Pre-registered. Both will successfully finalise broker login credentials

Select User Status Field

Enter the Broker's First and Last Name

Enter Last Name

Enter the broker's email address. This must be unique to the broker.

Enter Full Email Address

Enter the broker's mobile number. This must be unique to the broker.

Click Save to store the new user profile information.

Add Accreditation Details

As one final step, add your Accreditation Number to the broker's profile. To do this, click the new blue button that has appeared in the new profile

Access User Details

This will take you to a Broker Profile screen where you can store more detail on your broker.

In the Broker Screen, click open the "lender accreditations" section

Open Lender Accreditations

Click Add:

You will need to set your Lender in the dropdown:

Choose Demo Lender

And then add the broker's accreditation number:

Enter Lender Number

Click Save to store the lender accreditation details.

All done! Your broker will receive an email invite. Continue watching if you would like to be taken through the broker's experience.

The broker will receive an email invite for the finalisation of their registration to your channel

Open Registration Email

When the broker opens the email, they will see a link to click 'here' to complete the registration:

The broker will set their password:

View Username

This will finalise the setup of the credentials and your broker will now be finalised as Active in your channel:

Proceed to Login

The Broker can then login:

Enter Login Password

The Broker will need to setup 2-factor authentication

Loanapp has two-factor authentication as a security measure. Your broker will need to setup an Authenticator:

Generate Security Code

When they have set their authenticator, they will be able to proceed to the login again:

Access Login Page

Enter their email and password:

Submit Login

Generate a verification code and enter:

Enter Verification Code

Your broker will now be logged in to your Application Dashboard, which is where they can manage all their applications to you. First first time users, they will have an empty dashboard.
