The Information Request Module allows you to view and manage any and all Information Requests you have, across all of your applications.

When you login to Simpology Manager, you can go straight to the Information Request Module. ie you don't have to get their by first opening Loanapp.

How do I get to the Information Request Module in Simpology Manager?

There are two ways you can get to the Information Request Module when you have logged in to Simpology Manager:

Accessing Information Request via the Menu Ribbon

To get to Information Request via the Menu Ribbon, go to Solutions/Application Processing/Information Request:

When you navigate to Information Request from here, you will land in the Module, but because you had not specified a particular application to be working on, it will be 'empty':

You can then use the Search functionality to find the application that you want to work on, by scrolling through the applications or typing in the name/App number:

When you select an application, the Information Request Module will populate with the Info Requests you have for that application:

Accessing Information Request via the Application Record

You can also get to the specific Information Requests for a specific application by finding the application on your application grid, and then clicking through via the controls on the record.

Here I have searched/filtered my apps to find the application for Clinton, and I can get to the Supporting Documents control by clicking on the three dots on the record:

When I click on the three dots, I get all of the click through controls available to me for that application:

When I click on Information Request, I am taken to the Information Request Module and the checklist for that specific application:

Remember I can use the dropdown in the Information Request Module if I want to go to a different set of Info Requests for another application.

The Information Request Module is where ALL information requests will return.

While there are a number of different places that you might create an Info Request, ALL Information Requests that are created for an application will always land back in the Information Request Module. This is where you should go to manage your Info Requests.

Note that if the Lender is using Simpology for assessment workflows, they might also use Information Request to send you, the broker, a Missing Information Request during assessment. These types of requests will also land in the Information Request Module. So when you go there, you will be able to see any requests you have created (and sent to your applicants) and also, any requests that an assessor has created and sent to you.

In the following screen shot, I am logged in as the Broker, and I have gone to the Information Request Module to check on the Info Requests I have raised and sent to Applicant Sharon:

Assume I have then submitted my application, and the assessor has then raised an Info Request to me, the broker, for this application. This request will also land in the Information Request Module , but will be targeted to me, the broker:

How do I receive and finalise an Info Request?

Each of your Information Requests will have a "status" that tells you what's happening with the Info Request. In the following screenshot, I have four Info Requests in various statuses:

"New" Info Request Status

Means that an Info Request has been created, but has not yet been sent to the applicant

Info Requests sitting in this status might have been created by you but you haven't yet pressed send.

If you use the functionality to 'auto-generate' info requests for review in the submit workflow, all the generated info requests will be created with a New Status.

"Open" Info Request Status

Means that an Info Request has been sent to an applicant/target person, but has not yet been returned/completed

Info Requests sitting in this status will have been sent to your applicant, but you are still waiting on a response.

Note that you can open this request and 'resend' if you feel that your Applicants need to receive the request again:

"Replied" Info Request Status

Means that an Info Request has been completed by your applicant, has been returned to you and is ready for you to review and finalise

When an info request is in "replied" status, it means your applicant has returned something to you and its ready for review. To check what has been returned, click on the item to open the request:

You can click on any of the PDF icons to open the document viewer:

You can download/print/save etc, but if you are happy to send to supporting documents then tick the first Action item and Process the request:

This will send your document/s to the supporting documents bucket in your checklist, ready to attach to a requirement:

"Complete" Info Request Status

Means that an Info Request has been returned by the applicant, and you have reviewed and 'closed' the Info Request (it is finalised)

Once you have reviewed and "processed" an Info Request, the request will become "complete". Note that you cannot see complete Info Requests unless you have ticked the "Show Completed" tickbox:
