Tags, notes, and attachments provide tools to organize and store key information about your Clients. Here's how each feature works:

  • Tags - Tags let you categorize and later search Clients based on criteria relevant to your agency. Tags can be added or updated at any time. Tags applied to a Client will also apply to any payments or bookings made by the client. Click to learn more about bookings tags and payment tags.

  • Notes - Notes allow you to document important details about Clients for future reference. Notes allow you to track updates or information that may not fit elsewhere for all agents to see.

  • Attachments - Attach files such as JPG, PNG, or PDF documents to client profiles. This is useful for storing supplementary materials or records related to a specific Client.

Warning: To maintain security and compliance, do not store sensitive data, like social security numbers or credit card information, in notes or attachments.

To get started, locate the Client you want to manage (see our article on Find and View Clients if you need help).

Click the Contact Name.

The contact profile will open to the right. Click the Edit Details button.

This will open the Edit window. Click the Tags & Notes tab.

Scroll to the desired section. Instructions for each are below.

Tags

Look for the Tags section. Already existing tags will show as a dark gray block. To add a new one, simply click on the field and start typing. Sion will recommend existing tags as you type.

To use an existing tag, click one of the suggested tags in the dropdown. To create a new tag, simply hit the Tab or Enter key when you’re done typing.

You can add multiple tags to a client. To remove a tag, hit the X to the right of the tag name.

When you’re done, click the Save button to keep your changes.

Notes

Look for the Notes section. Enter any relevant information in the filed below. You can use markdown to format your text. For more information about markdown, see the article here.

When you’re done, click the Save button to keep your changes.

Attachments

Note: You cannot upload a file larger than 25mb.

Look for the Attachments section.

Drag and drop files into the field or hit the click to upload text to browse for a file on your device.

Click Save to keep your changes.
