The Note Types feature allows users to create and categorize notes for different records, including Clients, Prospects, Sites, and Leads. A separate list of note types can also be maintained specifically for Contacts.

  1. Choose the appropriate category when creating or editing a note type:

    • For Contacts – Note type applies specifically to contact records.

    • For All Other Entities – Note type applies to Client, Prospect, Site, and Lead records.

Editing a Note Type

  1. Navigate to the Note Types section.

  2. Tap the name of the note type you wish to edit.

  3. Rename it as needed.

  4. Hit Save to confirm changes.

Adding a New Note Type

  1. Tap the New button.

  2. Enter the name of the new note type.

  3. Hit Save to add it to the list.

Activity Report - Detailed

  • When adding or editing a note type, users can choose if the note type should appear in the Activity Report - Detailed.

  • By default, all note types will appear in this report unless manually deselected.

Properly maintaining Note Types ensures better organization and tracking of key interactions within SitePad CRM.
