Organizing Your Carrier Network with Groups

Organize your Carrier Network to match how you work. Use Groups to keep carriers easy to find by region, customer, or lane. Since carriers can belong to multiple groups, your lists stay reusable without creating duplicate records.

What are Groups?

Groups work like shared “folders” in your Carrier Network. They allow you to segment and manage carriers internally without changing the underlying carrier record.

Common ways to structure your network:

  • Region: (e.g., DACH, Nordics, Benelux)

  • Customer: (e.g., Customer A, Customer B)

  • Lane: (e.g., Berlin to Madrid)

Managing Group Membership

When working within your carrier lists, you have three primary actions to keep your groups organized:

  • Add to group: Assigns the carrier to an additional group. The carrier will now appear in both the new group and any groups they were already in.

  • Move to group: Shifts the carrier from the current group to a different one.

  • Remove from group: Takes the carrier out of the current group list. They remain in your main Carrier Network.

Managing and Finding Groups

As your network grows, you can easily organize and locate specific groups using the sidebar tools.

Finding a Group

If you have a long list of groups, you can filter the “Carrier Network” view by group. In that filter, you can search for a specific group and select multiple groups.

  • Type a group name to instantly filter your sidebar.

  • The search allows you to quickly isolate one or more specific groups without scrolling.

Managing Your Lists

To manage the groups you have created, use the action menu (three dots) next to the group name:

  • Rename Group: Change the name of a group at any time.

  • Delete Group: This deletes the "folder" only. It does not delete the carriers or affect their onboarding status.

  • Reorder Groups: You can drag and drop groups in the sidebar to reorder them. This change is on a user level only; it won't affect how your colleagues see their list.

FAQ: Common Questions

Who can see the groups I create?
The groups and the carriers assigned to them are visible to all users in your company. Only the order of the groups in the sidebar is private to your specific user account.

Is onboarding status different per group?
No. The onboarding status is "global." If a carrier is Onboarded in one group, they show as Onboarded everywhere.

Does adding a carrier to a second group create a duplicate?
No. Groups are just different "views" of the same carrier. Adding them to a new group does not restart onboarding or create a new connection.

How do I know which groups a carrier belongs to? Check the Groups column in your main Carrier Network table. It shows all groups assigned to that carrier at a glance.
