Introduction to the Visibility Control Center

The Visibility Control Center (VCC) is your central hub for data transparency. It lets you control access to your visibility data, monitor your carrier network’s performance, and verify vehicle availability—all in one place.

High-quality, real-time visibility depends on a well-managed network. Whether you are a Shipper or a Logistic Service Provider (LSP), the VCC provides tools to keep your ecosystem connected and secure.

Key Capabilities

  • Outgoing Visibility (Carriers & LSPs): Manage which customers receive your tracking updates.

  • Incoming Visibility: Track the onboarding progress of your carrier network.

  • Verify Assets: Use the License Plate Lookup to check vehicle status before allocation.

1. Customers Tab: Outgoing Visibility

Shippers will not see this tab as they do not provide visibility data to others.

If you are a Carrier or an LSP, this section shows you exactly which data subscribers (Shippers or Forwarders) have access to your real-time visibility data.

  • View Consent: See to whom you have accepted to share data and the specific date the agreement began.

  • Manage Access: An ADMIN user can cancel—and later undo the cancellation of—a data-sharing agreement directly from the side panel.

  • Declining Consent: If you cancel, you will remain in the customer’s network table, but your consent status will change from Accepted to Declined until you opt-in on data sharing again

  • Data Flow: Once declined, no data is shared with that customer unless an ADMIN user manually turns the data-sharing consent back on.

2. Carrier Network tab: Incoming Visibility

The Carrier Network is your connected ecosystem of transport partners. It is your primary tool for expanding your digital reach.

2.1 Adding & Inviting Carriers

Click + Invite carriers in the upper right corner to add and invite carriers individually or via Import from Excel. You can send automated system emails or generate unique links to share using your own chat or email tools.

2.2 Carrier Network table: column definitions

The table provides a deep dive into your carrier relationships.
(Note: Many columns feature a tool-tip "i" for quick info).

Customizing Your View

Once you are familiar with the columns, you can personalize the table to match your workflow:

Hide/Show Columns: Click the Settings Wheel (⚙️) in the top right of the table to select which columns are visible.

Rearrange Columns: You can change the order of the columns by dragging and dropping the headers into your preferred position.

2.3 The Carrier Detail View (Side Panel)

Click anywhere in a carrier's row to open the side panel.

2.3.1 Carrier Company Details (Non-Editable)

Includes the official Company Name, Transporeon ID (relevant to your business), Visibility ID (for support), and Date Added (when the relation was created).

2.3.2 Internal References (Managed by You)

  • Reference Name: Editable for all carriers except those currently in the Invited state.

  • Relation Identifiers: Add as many unique references as needed. Each is exclusive to one carrier and not shared with them.

2.3.2 Onboarding & Invite History

Track the technical status and view a full audit trail.

  • Withdraw Invite: Available for Invited carriers. The link becomes invalid, and the status changes to Not Invited with an exclamation mark.

  • Resend/Copy Link: Access the unique invite link even after the initial email is sent.

2.4 Advanced Tools in Carrier Network

2.4.1 Onboarding Status Report

This visual report acts as a filter. Click any bar (e.g., "Visibility source pending") to filter the list. Use Check Progress to compare two dates and see onboarding trends over time.

3. License Plate Lookup Tab

Verify vehicle status before allocation. Simply enter a license plate to check if a vehicle is ready to provide real-time tracking data.
