How to Create a Share Link?

Updated this week

Below are the steps on how to create a Share Link:

  1. Click Create share link to create a new one.

  2. Clicking Apply content and settings button will instantly apply your current view settings to the share link (includes 3D/panoramic mode, opening to an annotation/image, and layer visibility).

  3. You can manually select specific layers to share. By default, all layers that are currently visible in your Layer tab are automatically selected.

  4. You can also select/unselect specific child layers if needed.

  5. You can also control the default visibility of the layers selected by clicking the eye icon for each layer.

Choose Default Settings when Opening an Annotation

The next steps continue from the previous ones. In SKAND, you can choose to open an annotation in a Share Link using either the annotation itself or an image.

a. Opening to a Default Annotation

  1. For the Default Annotation, you can select an annotation as the default view of your share links.

  2. Once you select an annotation, it will automatically position the default camera to the selected annotation.

  3. Once done, you can now click Save and copy link. The URL will be copied to your clipboard and opened in a new tab for review. Opening to this default annotation.

b. Opening to a Default Image

  1. You can choose the exact image or panorama your viewers see first.

Note: If you select a panorama for your default view, the share link will open in panorama view by default.

  2. Select an image from the Image viewer. Your current view will update.

  3. Go back to Share link tab.

  4. Once done, you can now click Save and copy link. The URL will be copied to your clipboard and opened in a new tab for review. Opening to this default image.
