Presentations let users turn a project into a guided walkthrough. Each Presentation is a sequence of slides built from captured or saved Views, played back in order with title and description overlays. They help teams tell a consistent story about a site, brief stakeholders without live navigation, and share a fixed narrative through a link.

What Users Can Do With Presentations
Presentations let users:
Capture the current 3D view as a slide, or import saved Views
Add a title, description, and duration to each slide
Surface annotations and their attribute data during playback
View images, play videos, and view documents inline from Executable Annotations, without leaving SKAND
Share the whole Presentation as a Share Link
Opening the Presentations Panel
Click the Presentation icon in the left sidebar to open the panel.
Each Presentation appears as a card showing a thumbnail preview either on a grid or list view, the Presentation name, the slide count, and the last edited time. Hover a card or open its ellipsis (…) menu to Play, Edit, Duplicate, or Delete it.
Creating a Presentation
Open a project to get started.
Click the Presentation icon in the left sidebar to open the panel.
Click Add Presentation in the Presentations panel. A new Presentation is created as Untitled Presentation.
Enter a name, then press Enter to confirm.
Click Import saved view to load a saved view, or capture the current view.
Select the saved Views to include in the Presentation.
Click Add slides to import the saved Views.
Enter the title and description (optional), then set the duration and overlay position for the active slide.
Choose whether to display the title and description in the presentation.
Quick actions in the Slide settings let users override the active slide with the current view, duplicate the active slide, or delete it.
Users can drag a slide to change its position in the presentation.
Click a slide to make it active.
Use the dropdown to switch between Autoplay or Manual playback.
Automatic playback plays the presentation from start to finish, while Manual playback lets users advance through the slides at their own pace.
After selecting a playback mode, click the button to start the presentation.
Presentation mode is now active.
Users can access the playback controls below the presentation. Click Next Slide to advance.
Click Previous Slide to move back one slide.
Show or hide the title and description (optional).
Click the Play button to activate automatic playback.
Click the Pause button to stop autoplay and return to manual playback.
Click Exit to return to the Presentation panel.
Sharing a Presentation
Click Share to generate a presentation Share link.
Optional: Click the gear icon to edit the share link. Users can configure layers and other data settings.
Click Copy and Preview button to generate and view your Share link.
Anyone with the Share link can view the Presentation and its contents.
Note: A Presentation share link grants read-only access to that Presentation only. Recipients cannot open the wider project, browse other layers, or edit anything.
Use a Share Link to customise which layers, Views, and other project data you want to share with others.
Pro tip: Set Overlay position on the first slide, then use Apply to All to keep the overlay consistent across the deck.
Adding Slides
Click + Add slide to open the two options:
Capture current view
Users can navigate the 3D scene to the framing they want, then choose Capture current view. The current camera position and scene state are saved as a new slide.
Import saved view
Choose Import saved view to open the Add Slide from Views dialog – Choose one or more saved Views to add as slides. Views are pulled from your Shared views folders. Select multiple thumbnails to build the whole deck at once, then click Add.
Note: Only Shared views can be imported as slides. Private views are not available for import. If users want to build a Presentation from a Private View, they must copy it to their Shared Views first.

Slide Settings
Select a slide to open the Slide settings panel:
Setting | Description |
Title | The heading shown in the playback overlay. |
Description | Supporting text shown beneath the title. |
Visibility (eye icon) | Controls whether the title and description appear during playback. |
Duration | How long the slide holds before advancing. |
Overlay position | Where the overlay sits on screen (for example, Bottom Center). Use Apply to All to push the same position to every slide. |
Quick Actions
Setting | Description |
Override with current view | Replaces the slide's saved camera with the current 3D view. This works the same way as Override with Current View on a saved View. |
Duplicate | Creates a copy of the slide. |
Delete | Removes the slide from the Presentation. |
Playing a Presentation
Click the Play button to choose a playback mode:
Play Presentation (Autoplay) – Starts from the first slide and plays automatically.
Preview (Manual) – Opens paused on the first slide. Start playback manually. During playback the viewer moves through the slides in order. Each slide shows its title and description overlay and a slide counter, with playback controls for previous, play/pause, and next.
Playback Controls
The control bar contains the following, from left to right:
Control | Description |
Slide counter | Shows the current slide against the total number of slides in the Presentation. |
Overlay visibility (eye) | Toggles the visibility of the active slide. |
Previous slide | Steps back to the previous slide. |
Play / Pause | Plays the Presentation automatically, or pauses it on the current slide. |
Next slide | Advances to the next slide. |
Loop | Enables or disables looping. When looping is enabled, playback returns to the first slide after the last slide finishes. |
Exit playback | Closes playback and returns to the Presentations panel. |
