At Skand, we believe that flexibility and seamless integration are key when working with geospatial data. To help you maximise the value of your annotations, we offer the option to export your 3D annotations in both Shapefile and GeoJSON formats. This allows data to be easily transferred between systems, ensuring compatibility across a wide range of platforms without the need for complex conversions.
Why Export in Shapefile or GeoJSON?
Shapefile: A widely-used geospatial vector data format designed for Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Shapefiles store geographic features such as points, lines, and polygons along with their associated location, geometry, and attribute data.
GeoJSON: An open standard format for encoding geospatial data based on JavaScript Object Notation (JSON). GeoJSON is popular for web development and API integration due to its simplicity and compatibility. It can also store metadata, such as feature IDs and descriptions, making it versatile for a wide range of applications.
