✅ Testing SKED Before Releasing to Patients — Step-by-Step Guide
Once you complete your SKED training, follow these steps to test the app before giving access to your practice members.
Step 1: Log In
Open the SKED mobile app.
Log in with your office test account.
Step 2: Test EHR → SKED Sync
In your EHR system, schedule yourself for a test appointment.
Open the SKED app and confirm that the appointment appears and matches the schedule in your EHR.
Step 3: Test SKED → EHR Sync
Create a new appointment directly in the SKED app.
Check your EHR and confirm the new appointment appears correctly.
Step 4: Test Appointment Changes
In the SKED app, reschedule the appointment you just created.
Verify the updated appointment time appears in your EHR.
Cancel the appointment in the SKED app.
Confirm the EHR reflects the cancellation.
Step 5: Confirm All Sync Tests Passed
If all appointments and changes synced correctly between SKED and your EHR system, you're ready to release SKED to your patients!
If anything did not sync correctly, contact SKED support before moving forward.
Step 6: Announce SKED to Your Patients
Use your SKED office banner and flyers to introduce the app in your office.
Distribute the digital PDF flyer you received by email.
Didn’t receive your banner or flyers? Let us know and we’ll resend them.
These tools help patients understand the benefits of SKED and encourage them to download and start using the app.
Final Step: Go Live
Once patients have access, you will have the ability to allow them to:
Schedule appointments
Reschedule appointments
Cancel appointments
Your practice is now ready to fully use SKED to streamline scheduling!
