What is Virtual Check-in?
Virtual Check-in is a feature that allows clients to check in for their appointment from the SKED App using location services on their mobile devices. To set it up, follow the directions below or click here for a tutorial.
How do I set it up?
Click the Settings gear
Select the Geofence Setting drop-down and choose between Quick Barcode Notification or Check-in from App
Quick Barcode Notification will send your clients a notification when they get to your office to open the barcode quickly
Check-in form App will enable clients to check themselves in
Customize the Message Body. This message will be sent to the patient when you click to "Notify" them.
Click Save Changes.
How does it work?
Patients will need to enable location services on their mobile device
Once a patient is within 200 yards of the office, they can open the app. They will then be prompted to check in for their appointment.
In the Virtual Check-In tab, we recommend filtering the source by SKED Only to view patients who are checking in via the app. Once a patient checks in from the app, they will appear in the Checked-In column.
Once you are ready to notify the patient, click the Notify button. They will then be moved to the Notified column. You can then arrive the appointment and they will be moved to the Arrived column.
