📝 Overview
Virtual check-in is a feature that allows clients to check in for their appointment from the SKED app using location services on their mobile device.
Click here to set up this feature.
Choosing “Check-in from app” will give patients the option to check themselves in.
Choosing “Quick barcode notification” will send your clients a notification when they arrive at your office, allowing them to open the barcode quickly.
If you choose “Check-in from app,” you’ll be given an option to compose a notification message.
This is where you will monitor patients who are checking in from the app.
We suggest updating the source to SKED only, so that you are only notified of patients who are checking in through the app.
Now, when a patient is within 200 yards of your office, if they open the SKED app, they will be given an option to check in for their appointment.
Once they tap “Check In,” they will appear in the Checked In column.
When you’re ready to notify the patient, click the “Notify” button.
They will then be sent your notification message and move to the Notified column.
To mark the patient as arrived, click the “Arrive” button — they will move to the Arrived column.
