📝 Overview
Managing patient information in SKED allows you to easily access client details, verify app registration methods, and update communication preferences. This feature ensures accurate contact information and gives both your office and your clients control over how notifications are received.
Viewing Patient Information
To view and manage your patient’s information, click Show More.
If there is a 📱 phone icon next to the patient’s name, this indicates that they are registered for the SKED app.
To see how they are registered, hover over the phone icon or view the App Registration section.
App Registration Details
SKED will list whether the client is registered with Google, Facebook, Apple, or Email.
If the app registration lists an email address, the client is registered with email and will need to choose the Sign In with Email option on the app login screen.
If the client’s file shows that they are registered with Apple, Facebook, or Google, they must select the corresponding option to sign into their account.
Contact Information
SKED automatically pulls each client’s phone number and email address from your EHR system.
This ensures you can contact your practice members via text or email, regardless of whether they are using the SKED app.
Managing Notification Preferences
Practice members can manage their own notification preferences either:
From a text message they receive from your office, or
Directly through the SKED app.
You can also manage notification settings for your patients directly in SKED.
If a client has both Email and SMS notifications enabled, both options will appear checked.
If a client no longer wishes to receive email notifications, simply uncheck the box next to the email option.
Notification Types
Practice members can also choose to opt out of specific types of notifications:
Appointment Reminders – Messages sent through the Automated Messages tab.
Office Notifications – One-time messages regarding office events or updates, sent through the One-Time Messages tab.
Two-Way SMS – Allows practice members to text back and forth with the office.
Review Requests – Sends a review request if the Automated Review feature is enabled.
Go to Room Messages – Notifies patients which room to go to when checking in via Virtual Check-In.
📍 Example: If you disable the Office Notifications category, the client will no longer receive one-time messages from your office.
Campaigns Section
The Campaigns section lists any campaigns that the client is connected to.
