Data Importer Navigation

The Data Importer consists of three main areas:

1. Upload Page

The Upload page is where every import begins.

To start a new import:

    or

  2. Click to upload a file from your device,
    or

  3. Copy and paste data directly into the importer.

2. Import History

The Import History section allows you to track all past and in-progress imports.

Each entry includes details such as:

  • Records created

  • Records updated

  • Records skipped

  • Records failed

Draft imports are automatically saved if you begin but do not complete an import. You can:

  • Resume a draft by selecting the edit (pencil) icon

  • Delete drafts that are no longer needed

Note: Drafts become uneditable after ninety days.

3. Import Templates

Import Templates streamline repeat imports by saving your field mappings, eliminating the need to remap fields when importing similar data in the future.

Note: When editing a template, you may see sample data from a previous import. This is for reference only and will not trigger a new import.

Key Takeaways

  • Access the Data Importer from the Settings panel under Tools.
