Deposit and Withdrawal Timelines

Slay Markets deposit and withdrawal clearing times by method, plus withdrawal holds: 5 calendar days from the clearing date for ACH, 10 for wire withdrawals, no hold on wire deposits or trading gains.

At Slay Markets, deposit and withdrawal clearing times depend on the method used, and all times are counted in business days (Monday through Friday, excluding federal bank holidays). For deposits: ACH bank transfers take 1 to 3 business days, wire transfers take 1 to 2 business days, debit card deposits post same day to 1 business day, and SEPA transfers take 3 to 5 business days. For withdrawals: ACH withdrawals take 1 to 3 business days and wire withdrawals take 1 to 2 business days after processing. Processing time begins when Slay Markets receives and processes your request, not when you submit it. Deposited principal is separately subject to a withdrawal hold that runs from the day the deposit clears.

Important: Only cleared, settled funds count toward your tradable balance and margin at Slay Markets. Deposited funds that are still in transit or on hold cannot be used for trading until they fully clear.

How long do Slay Markets deposits take to clear?

Slay Markets deposit clearing times by method, counted in business days (Monday through Friday, excluding federal bank holidays):

  • ACH (bank transfer): 1 to 3 business days. Funds are available the next business day at the earliest. ACH deposits submitted before 2:00 PM ET are processed the same day and typically post overnight; requests after 2:00 PM ET are processed the next business day. The timeline may extend to 3 business days if your bank was not instantly verified via Plaid at the time of linking. Funds deposited by ACH are held for 5 calendar days from the day the deposit clears before they can be withdrawn by ACH — or 10 calendar days from the clearing date if you are withdrawing by wire transfer. This is separate from the up-to-3-business-day trading-availability hold that can apply when a linked bank was not instantly verified — see Why Is My Withdrawal on Hold?.

  • Wire transfer: 1 to 2 business days. Funds are available the same day if Slay Markets receives the wire before 4:00 PM ET. The wire must be initiated at your bank, and you must include your Slay Markets account number in the memo field.

  • Debit card: Same day to 1 business day, and same day in most cases. A debit card deposit cannot be canceled once submitted.

  • SEPA (international): 3 to 5 business days, and 3 business days at the earliest. SEPA is available for EUR-denominated accounts only, and your initiating bank's processing may add time.

How long do Slay Markets withdrawals take to clear?

Slay Markets processes withdrawals by ACH bank transfer or wire transfer, with clearing times counted in business days (Monday through Friday, excluding federal bank holidays):

  • ACH (bank transfer) withdrawal: 1 to 3 business days. ACH withdrawals require a US-based bank account; international accounts (Wise, Revolut, etc.) are not supported.

  • Wire transfer withdrawal: 1 to 2 business days after processing. Withdrawals above a certain size may require additional verification before processing. If your withdrawal seems delayed, contact Slay Markets support at support@slaymarkets.com.

When can I withdraw funds I just deposited?

Deposited funds clear for trading before they clear for withdrawal. The withdrawal hold runs from the day the deposit clears — not from the date you initiated the transfer. Because ACH takes 1 to 3 business days to clear, the total wait is roughly 6 to 8 calendar days from initiation.

Wire deposits have no withdrawal hold. Funds deposited by wire can be withdrawn by ACH or wire immediately after they clear.

Trading gains have no withdrawal hold. Profit from winning trades can be withdrawn at any time. Hold periods apply only to deposited principal.

For a full walkthrough of the hold model, see Understanding Withdrawal Holds.

Why is my Slay Markets deposit on hold?

Slay Markets places a hold on certain deposits to reduce the risk of fraud and reversed transactions. The most common reason for a hold is that your bank account was not instantly verified at the time of linking. When a bank is not instantly verified through Plaid, an ACH deposit may be held for up to 3 business days from the deposit date before the funds become available.

A hold does not mean something is wrong with your deposit. It simply means the funds are in transit and will be released automatically on the scheduled date. To find the exact release date for a held ACH deposit, open your Account Dashboard and go to Transfer Funds > Transaction History, where the expected release date is shown for that transaction.

How do I check the status of a Slay Markets deposit or withdrawal?

To check the current status and expected release date of any Slay Markets deposit or withdrawal, use the Transaction History in your Account Dashboard:

  1. Log in to your Account Dashboard.

  2. Select Transfer Funds from the left navigation menu.

  3. Click Transaction History.

  4. Locate your deposit or withdrawal. The current status and expected release date are shown.

What do Slay Markets transaction statuses mean?

In your Slay Markets Account Dashboard under Transfer Funds > Transaction History, each deposit or withdrawal shows one of the following statuses:

  • Pending — your request has been submitted and is being processed.

  • In Transit — funds are moving between accounts.

  • On Hold — funds have been received but are subject to a hold period.

  • Completed — funds are fully cleared and available in your account.

  • Returned / Failed — the transaction was rejected. The note in Transaction History shows the reason.

Which federal bank holidays delay Slay Markets deposits and withdrawals?

Slay Markets deposit and withdrawal timelines are counted in business days, which are Monday through Friday excluding federal bank holidays. Processing does not occur on weekends or on the following federal bank holidays, so a request that falls on or around these dates may take longer to clear:

Q: I submitted a wire transfer a few business days ago and it still has not posted. What should I do?

A: Wire deposits take 1 to 2 business days after Slay Markets receives them. Then contact Slay Markets support at support@slaymarkets.com with your wire confirmation number, sending bank name, and transfer date.

Business days exclude weekends and federal bank holidays.
