How to Send Invitations from the User Management Dashboard

Updated over 7 months ago

If you’re a plan manager, you can easily invite team members to join your SLP Toolkit group using the User Management Dashboard.

Note: You must have an active plan manager account first to access the User Management Dashboard. Not sure if you have an account or need to set one up? Email us at help@slptoolkit.com.

Steps to Send Invitations

Step 1 — Log in to the Dashboard

Go to the User Management Dashboard Login and sign in using your plan manager credentials. Select Forgot my password on the bottom if you needed.

Step 2 — Select Your Organization

In the Organizations section, select your organization (highlighted in blue once selected). If you manage multiple organizations, be sure to select the correct one before sending invitations.

Step 3 — Open the Invitation Tool

Click the three dots in the top-right corner, then choose “Send Invitations.”

Step 4 — Accept the Privacy Notice

Important: Please note that any email addresses used should be owned and controlled by the district or organization to ensure that current privacy agreements remain valid. If personal email addresses are used, privacy agreements with those individual providers will apply instead.

Before adding email addresses, you’ll receive a prompt reminding you of this privacy agreement requirement. Click I Understand to proceed.

Step 5 — Enter Email Addresses

Type the email addresses of the people you’d like to invite. Separate addresses with a space, comma, or press return after each one.

Note: If you send more invites than your license count, only the number of licensed users can accept the invitation. Once the limit is reached, any additional users will not be able to join.

Step 6 — Send the Invitations

Click Send — your invitations are on their way!

After you’ve sent invitations, users will receive an email guiding them through the setup process. This email will come from SLP Toolkit and will indicate that the invitation is coming from your school district.

  • Invitation Email: Users will see an option to Accept Invitation, which will guide them through a series of prompts to join the organization’s group plan. This applies whether they’re brand new users or already have a personal SLP Toolkit account.

  • Account Changes for Existing Users: If the invited user already has an active personal subscription paid via a credit card within the app, the credit card will no longer be billed or associated with the account. Additionally, they’ll receive confirmation of a prorated refund on the credit card for any unused portion of their subscription, if applicable.

  • Once the invitation has been accepted, their account profiles will reflect that their subscription is covered under a group plan paid by the district/organization.

Step 7 — Track Invitation Status

You can view the status of each invite in the Invitations section:

  • Pending: Invitation sent but not yet accepted

  • Accepted: User has joined your organization

  • Expired: Invitation older than 7 days (send a new one if needed)

Step 8 — View Your Current Users

You can view all of your current users with accepted invitations in the Users section.
