Before you start
You must have your SmartAC.com to ServiceTitan integration already connected. See How do I set up my ServiceTitan integration?
This article covers creating the Pricebook service item used to subtract Comfort Credits on an invoice. This is separate from the Custom Field that displays a customer's current Comfort Credit balance — that is covered in How do I add Comfort Credits mapping to my ServiceTitan integration?
Overview
To allow technicians to apply Comfort Credits as a line item discount on a ServiceTitan invoice, you need to:
Create a Service item in the ServiceTitan Pricebook
Map that service to Comfort Credits in your SmartAC Dashboard
Part 1: Create the Comfort Credits Service in the ServiceTitan Pricebook
In ServiceTitan, navigate to Pricebook in the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Select Add Service.
3. Create the service adding the following information:
Code — Enter your chosen name (e.g. "Comfort Credits" or your branded equivalent). The Code and Name can be the same.
Name
Item Description — Optional, but recommended (e.g. "Applied Comfort Credits loyalty discount").
Note: You can use your own branded name (e.g. "Care Cash", "HVAC Points") — just make sure you use the exact same name when mapping it in SmartAC in Part 2.
4. Click Save.
Part 2: Map the Pricebook Service to Comfort Credits in SmartAC
Go to your SmartAC Dashboard at noc.smartac.com/settings.
Navigate to Integrations, select ServiceTitan, and click Integration Settings.
Locate the Comfort Credits Services Mapping section and click Edit.
In the mapping modal, click + Add another service and type in the exact name of the Pricebook service you just created in Part 1.
Click Save.
Important: The name entered in SmartAC must exactly match the service name in your ServiceTitan Pricebook. This is also separate from the Custom Field name used to display the Comfort Credit balance on the Customer or Job Record.
What's next?
Once set up, technicians can apply Comfort Credits to a job invoice as a task line item. See How do I apply Comfort Credits to a ServiceTitan invoice? for the full walkthrough.
