SmarterProctoring includes a built-in virtual calculator that instructors can enable for you to use during remote proctoring sessions.

How to Access the Virtual Calculator

The virtual calculator can be opened by clicking the calculator icon on the SmarterProctoring toolbar.

Types of Calculators

  • Scientific

  • Graphing

  • Matrix

  • Basic 4 Function

Note: The instructor will select the virtual calculator version that will be provided within the session during exam creation.

How to Move, Hide, and Close the Calculator

  • Moving

    Click and hold the set of dots located in the center of the calculator window's title bar. Drag the window to the desired location, then release the mouse button.

  • Hiding

    Click the arrow icon located on the calculator window to hide it. To restore the calculator, click the arrow icon again.

  • Closing

    Click the X in the top-right corner of the calculator window to close it.

The calculator can be reopened at any time by clicking the Calculator icon in the

SmarterProctoring toolbar.
