Manual unique password injection
Troubleshooting
Automatic Password Injection
After you complete onboarding and are directed to the exam URL, SmarterProctoring will automatically try to inject the password into the appropriate field. Once you verify the password is there, click Submit.
Manual Password Injection
If the automatic password injection fails, you can manually input a unique password for the exam by following these steps:
Click into the password field to place the cursor inside it.
Click the Exam Password icon in the SmarterProctoring Toolbar.
A unique password will populate in the password window.
You must manually type the password as it is presented (case sensitive), you cannot copy and paste the password into the field.
Click the submit button.
Troubleshooting
The exam platform login page appears after onboarding completion
Some Learning Management Systems or exam platforms may require test-takers to log into their account before displaying the exam page. In these cases, the exam password might be mistakenly injected into the login page’s password field. If this happens, delete the injected password and enter the correct username and password for the login page. Once the exam page is displayed, the password will be injected properly.
Submit button is not active
Some exam platforms do not recognize the injected password as valid input until a keyboard action is detected. In this scenario, the test-taker should click into the password field at the end of the injected password, type any letter, and then delete it. This should activate the submit button and allow access to the exam.
