Overview

SmarterProctoring requires permission to share your camera during remote proctoring sessions. During onboarding, you will be prompted to grant Google Chrome permission to share your camera.

Enabling camera access in Windows 11

  1. Open the Start menu and click Settings.

    1. If Settings is not listed, you can search for settings by typing settings into the Start menu search bar.

  2. Within Settings, select Privacy & security from the left menu.

  3. Scroll down and click Camera under the App permissions section.

  4. Set Let apps access your camera to On.
