Each community is unique and has different needs. With SmartRent, you are able to create and delete a unit easily.
Creating a Unit:
To create a unit in SmartRent, follow these steps:
Click your desired Community
Click Units in the left sidebar menu
Click Add Unit
Name your Unit
Enter the Unit Code
Upload an image
Set the Status of the unit (Model, Vacant, Down, Occupied, Common Area)
Click Create
All other sections of the unit wizard should represent the information you entered for your community.
Deleting a Unit:
To delete a unit in SmartRent, follow these steps:
Click your desired Community
Click on Units in the left sidebar menu
Click on the Unit you want to delete
Click Settings in the left sidebar menu
Click the red trash can icon in the upper right-hand corner
Click Delete (Note: the trash can is not available for units synced over from PMS)
