SmartRent allows you to control devices in vacant homes. This can help keep thermostats regulated and gives you the ability to monitor sensors in homes with no residents.
Controlling Devices In a Vacant Unit:
To view and control devices in SmartRent, follow these steps:
Click your desired Community
Click Units in the left sidebar menu
Click on the desired vacant unit
Click on the device you want to monitor/control
Use the onscreen controls to adjust or control the specified device
Based on the device you select, you will be able to do things like adjust the temperature, turn devices on or off, open or close devices, lock or unlock the door, and see the status of devices.
