Steps to Create a Substitution
Where to Click
Home Page
Left Hand Navigation → Accounts → Trade Restrictions →
+ Create New Restriction button → Select the Substitution option from the dropdown
Enter Account Number
Enter Security to Replace
Enter Replacement Security
Select Behavior
Set Start Date
Set End Date (optional)
Click Submit
Important Notes
Applies across all sleeves
Requires a rebalance for Managed Portfolios
Takes effect immediately unless future dated
