Purpose: This article explains how to create a Quiz Challenge in SocialLadder, including key setup options and best practices.
Context: Quiz Challenges are a great way to ensure that ambassadors understand program details, brand guidelines, or training materials. Unlike survey challenges, Quiz Challenges only award points if the user answers correctly.
Quiz Challenge Overview
Quiz Challenges are designed to:
Test ambassador knowledge on brand information, program rules, or marketing materials.
Engage users with fun trivia and knowledge-based tasks.
Reward only those who pass the quiz with the correct answers.
Automatically tag users who pass, making it easy to track knowledge retention.
How to Create a Quiz Challenge
Navigate to the Challenges Tab
Go to Challenges in the SocialLadder portal.
Click the + CREATE button.
Select the Challenge Type
Set Up Basic Challenge Details
Challenge Name
Segments and Campaigns
Start/End date
Options: Add Questions & Answers:
Enter the quiz question(s).
Provide multiple answer choices and mark the correct one.
Optionally, upload an image to accompany the question.
Retake Permission: Decide if ambassadors can retake the quiz if they fail.
You can also set here the tag on completion option

Incentives
Select Compensation Type accordingly
Advanced Settings (Optional)
Check the options accordingly with your objectives
Publish the Challenge
Click Save and Publish to make the challenge live.
If you want to edit it later, save it as a Draft.
Best Practices and Tips
Use Tags Strategically: Automatically tagging users who pass helps in future targeting for challenges or advanced ambassador roles.
Balance Difficulty and Reward: Ensure the quiz is challenging but fair, with appropriate points for completion.
Provide Context in CTA: If applicable, restate the question or give background information in the Call to Action field.
Encourage Learning: If ambassadors fail, consider allowing retakes to reinforce learning.
Use Visuals: Adding images to questions makes quizzes more engaging and memorable.
