By default, each of Sociavore's Theme templates includes a "Recent Post" section on the homepage.
With Sociavore's built-in Publisher, you can create and display text/image posts and blog posts into your website as well as Instagram posts.
Follow the steps below to customize how your recent posts are displayed on the website:
Step 1 - Background
Upload a background for this section and adjust the transparency of the image. Increasing the transparency makes the image darker.
To remove the background check off the "no background image" box
Step 2 - Layout Style & Number of Posts to Display
There are 4 layout styles to choose from and you can display up to 9 of your most recent posts on the page.

Title and/or description is the main display
Image is displayed when you hover over the post

"Read more" is displayed
Layout Style #3 (Slider)
Right and left arrows to flip through posts if more than 3 is displayed

Step 3 - Hide / Unhide Descriptions & Dates
Typically, a blog post has a title, description, and a date. A regular / status post has a text description and a date. Optionally you can hide the description and/or the date.
Step 4 - Type of Posts to Display
Select the type of posts to display, or select them all. A blog post can include a longer text content whereas a regular post is just a short description similar to status post on social media.
Optionally, you can display a navigation menu to filter the type of posts.
Or display a "View All" button, when clicked, it redirects the visitor to a page with all your posts.
Step 5 - Don't forget to save your work!
