"The list is empty!"
This is a problem we see sometimes - you're trying to connect your business Instagram account to Socio, but the list in the Add Channel screen is empty, the Instagram is no where to be found.
Luckily the solution is simple, there's only one or two things that could cause this issue - here we'll run through them quickly and get you posting π
Linking Instagram & Facebook
The most common reason Socio won't be able to find your Instagram, is that it isn't properly linked to your business Facebook page.
To make sure Instagram and Facebook are correctly linked, begin by signing into Facebook and Switching to control of your business page.
Now click the below link, this will take you right to the Linked Profiles section.
From here, follow the on-screen instructions (as above) to make sure the Instagram is properly connected.
If the Instagram seems to already be connected correctly here move on to the Business Integrations step detailed below.
Business Integrations
Checking your Business Integration settings in Facebook is the way to make sure your profile's settings aren't inadvertently hiding pages from what SocioConnect can see - it's an easy process.
Start by logging in to Your Personal facebook profile - and then clicking the below link, this will take you right to the Business Integration settings.
Next, click the option to "View & Edit" next to SocioLocal.
Then scroll through the listed settings, making sure everything is ticked - π‘go carefully, as some settings might be hidden behind drop down menus and can be easy to miss.
Once done, click Save and return to SocioConnect to try adding that channel again.
